Join us at our Free Community Music Festival feat. Sick Joy, BITTER KISSES, Seven Crowns, Honeyglow, and PitFeeders.
Featuring five awesome acts across two stages, this mini-festival runs from 5.45pm to 10.15pm and is open to all ages (under-16s must be accompanied by an adult).
Line-up:
Sick Joy –
Brighton-based, born in Newcastle’s underground scene, Sick Joy are carried by the raw intensity of singer Mykl Barton. Second album More Forever, recorded with Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age), twists their alt-rock DNA into something darker, sharper, and more expansive. They’ve shared bills with Pixies and Pearl Jam and ignited crowds from Reading & Leeds to 2000 Trees.
“Alt rock anthems, poetic truths, and hard-hitting lyrics” – Distorted Sound
BITTER KISSES –
Pop music you can beat your friends up to. BITTER KISSES have made a name for themselves with their high-energy live shows and synth-infused blend of pop metal and rock.
Seven Crowns –
Born out of the European DIY hardcore punk underground, Seven Crowns have toured relentlessly for twenty years. Fourth album Haunted Head, out now, is a love letter to those they’ve lost.
Honeyglow –
Honeyglow are an alt-grunge five-piece born of contradictions. Self-described as “stompy fairy”, they create music for anyone who has ever felt too much, too quiet, too strange, or too soft.
PitFeeders –
PitFeeders are a Bristol-based evil alt-rock two-piece. If you’re looking for chaotic fun and heavy riffs, they’re the band for you. Hungry for mayhem? Allow us to feed the pit!
