Free Community Music Festival: The Alcopop! Records Edition
Join us at the Alcopop! Records edition in our series of Free Community Music Festivals!

Presenting 5 awesome bands across 2 stages, this mini festival will run from 5:45pm-10:15pm, featuring 3 acts from the Alcopop! Records family and is open to all ages (with under 16s to be accompanied by an adult).

On the bill: Bo Ningen, Problem Patterns, Cherym, Battery Acid & Nobody’s Dad

Funded with support from Bath Spa University

Line-up:

Bo Ningen:
Japanese Psychedelic / Alternative Rock band Bo Ningen have graced the stage at some of the world’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Coachella, and Fuji Rock. The band embody today’s art/music scene where crossovers of different cultures are flourishing.

Problem Patterns:
Belfast feminist queercore four-piece Problem Patterns write songs for right now, swapping roles and instruments to get their point across about whatever angers them this week. It's shouty, it's heavy, it's tongue in cheek, it's inclusive, it's hopeful and it's fun.

CHERYM:
Indie-Punk outfit CHERYM are among the new school of queer rockers that have taken the world by storm. Starting out as a kick-back against the local music scene boys club, their relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy encapsulates who they are as people, and as a ferocious live act.

Battery Acid:
With influences of folk, punk and metal, four-piece alt/rock band Battery Acid have cultivated a unique sound. Their combination of grungy guitar tones, catchy chord progressions and haunting melody lines brings a new breath of life to the rock scene.

Nobody's Dad:
Bristol’s Nobody’s Dad emerged in the early 2020s with a raw and gritty sound rooted in alt-rock. Taking their cues from the likes of 90s punk and the rising British alternative scene, the group share real life experiences - weaving relationships, mental health, and coming of age in post 2020 Britain
