Join Robin Ince and friends for a one-off special night of comedy, poetry, music and curiosity at Komedia Bath, raising awareness and vital funds to support local charity Julian House.
Robin Ince is best known as the host of the Radio 4 series, The Infinite Monkey Cage, with Brian Cox, which is now on its 29th series! They have been on three international arena tours, during which Robin performed his poetry in front of 14,000 people at the London O2. As well as being one of the UK’s most respected, interesting and interested stand-up comedians, Robin also created The Book Club, which combined music, comedy, poetry and, within a year, science. Then later, the Cosmic Shambles Network, co-curated with Josie Long and others; a delightfully ramshackle and rambling hub of live shows, podcasts, apps, documentaries and - oh, all sorts of other stuff.
He was also awarded Author of the Year by The Booksellers’ Association in 2022. His books include Bibliomaniac, the Importance of Being Interested, I’m a Joke and So Are You and his next, Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal is out in May 2025.
He beat John Cooper Clarke on Pointless Celebrities, but it was a close run thing. His most recent live show, MELONS, included punching a melon until it exploded, but he cannot promise such things at Komedia Bath.
